Buy this together with the monitoring server. The two come to $3,900 — $400 less than the server plus the standalone installation, because doing both in one visit saves me time and I would rather pass that on than pretend it does not exist.
What I do

- Switches, routers and firewalls brought in over syslog — no agent needed on those

- A written handover, so it survives staff changes
